Awesome. I haven't seen the show in years, I'm due for a rewatch. I always get tripped out when I hear AJ watching Metalocalypse in the last season of The Sopranos - I can't believe Metalocalypse is that old!

I'm just happy it's a continuation of Doomstar Requiem and that story isn't being thrown out. Would have sucked to have that cliffhanger only for that saga to be ditched.

IIRC didn't Venture Bros end on a cliffhanger too? I haven't watched the show in like 15 years, but my friend told me it ends on a cliffhanger. Good that show's getting a movie.

I just hope if the movies are well-recieved and end up being successful, it means they'll be greenlit for new seasons. Given how good Galaktikon II was, its good to know Brendan still has good songwriting chops.

Oh my god I never thought it'd happen, I'm so happy! Will definitely check it out on arrival.
If there's an album I hope it's mixed better than Galaktikon 2, vocals were absolutely buried in that one :(

Stoked for this. The early episodes of Metalocalypse are some of the funniest bits of TV I've ever seen

OMG, I'm so happy to hear this. I thought Dethklok was gone for good aside from some minor Nathan Explosion like pop-ins on Galaktikon albums.

Brendon always brings it, so you know the music will be legit.

A combination of the old Adult Swim boss (who's apparently a huge dick) leaving and HBO Max trying to push hard for new content sure did help.
