Did you know Intronaut released a new song last month?

First impression: not as good as Direction of Last Things but that's an almost perfect album for me so it's hard to live up to that. Any new music from these boys is good news, though!

It took me a few listens to get used to the somewhat nasally vocals, but after a few trips through I’m really digging it.
Intronaut is one of my favorite bands so I think they can do no wrong, and I have a strong feeling this album will go really hard. I’m glad they finally got Kurt Ballou in the mix, and Josh Newell is a known recipe for success for their sound. Very impressed by Rudy’s drumming on this track.

Interested to hear where their heads are at musically these days...

Would be into a new "Naut-Kicker" project also.

Man I miss this band. Habitual Levitations is one of my favorite albums ever. I managed to catch them a bunch of times when they came through my home town and they always put on such a great show. Not enough people out there making the sort of stuff they are. I wish I had a bigger vocabulary to continue circlejerking them and how good they are but this'll have to do.

Just here to post Rudy's play through. Absolutely killer, some of the best tom tones I've heard in recent memory. The patterns in the middle of the song are mesmerizing to watch.
Nobody will ever be exactly like Danny, but Alex totally crushes it and his take is completely appropriate for the music. I just wonder if they will end up having a full time replacement. Alex doesn't have the best record of staying in bands, so I doubt it will end up being him.

Saw these guys in Belgium, in a tiny venue, hung out with them afterwards and apart from being brilliant musicians, they are just quality dudes.
Can't wait to hear the rest.

I was first afraid that Alex would be a little too clean and tight sounding for Intronaut but i like his drumtrack just fine!

Considering The Direction of Last Things sounds like straight-up Superior Drummer, I can't imagine it would be an issue. ( I love that album and this band, but, yeah)

I enjoyed the Kurt Ballou-mixed Future Usses record Sacha put out. Intronaut + Kurt Ballou seems like a natural progression, should have happened sooner! Sick bass noises as well.

I had The Black Dahlia Murder come through my venue at the beginning of the summer, and Joe Lester was actually doing lights for them. We talked about the new album and he told me that Rudy was going to be their drummer. He also told me that they wrote out the parts to basic drum tracks, then sent him the demo files and told him to do whatever he wanted. Joe said he did a bunch of "really fucked up stuff in the best way possible", and after watching the playthrough video, he wasn't lying!

Relay looking forward for this one!
New single sounds great, but it took a some time before getting used to it.

Direction of lost things was and still is one of mine favorite records!

Cant wait for the album and hoping for tour dates in Europe!!
