So why the move? Well, my roommate decided to move back to his hometown (I forget where) so that forced me to move because I couldn't pay the $575 a month rent by myself working less than minimum wage. Luckily, my friends as well as my brother decided that we should all go in on a house for rent!

This house is located in the downtown of Johnson City and is right in the middle of most of the things that Johnson City has to offer. It is a spacious four bedroom with a newly renovated kitchen and a HUGE living room. It's so big that it's like we have two normal sized living rooms put together! The only unfortunate thing about this house is that it has only one bathroom and the stairs are really steep and shallow. Fortunately, we haven't run into any scheduling issue yet.

If you want I can post some pictures of the rest of the house later.

I am planning on staying here for at least a year if not two and was going to treat this room. Where would you guys say are some reputable sources for this?

    With regards,
    Keegan

    Congratulations!

May your powerful Djent make the neighbors cower in fear and respect and may all but the most metal-ass of insects be shaken to death by your powerful 7/8 syncopated death-grooves and resurrected as flamin' hot babes by your polyrhythmic chugging/chromatic concepts.

I have no idea about treating the room- but good luck xD

Nice! I can't wait to move into a long term place and get it treated.
Ethan Winer aka Realtraps is THE source on acoustics. Everything you need to know is on his website.

Is that bad? I thought you determined angle by looking at your monitor from your listening position and if you could see the sides of the monitor then you need to adjust them so you don't see the sides? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah but you should be either sitting further back or have the speakers closer together.

Thanks man! I just moved them in to about 2' 6" apart and some of the problem areas that I was having before just vanished!

Thanks man! I will definitely look at this before I go to work!

Your speakers and head should make a perfect triangle. If your speakers are 5ft apart from each other. Your head should be 5ft away from the left and right speaker. That puts you in the "sweet" spot. You should be looking right down the barrel of them and not be seeing the sides. Like this picture....

I'm going to post pictures of it now. It sounds a lot more even than before.
