Missing roasted maple and a fade finish.

Bandwagoning aside, the multiscale length is solid. 26.5 - 28 seems like the perfect balance to me.

I'm in what seems to be the minority that thinks 27" is fine on the bass end. 27" straight scale is fine for me.

Cort obviously must have a market somewhere but its not the UK, I don't see many here at all, and doubt I'll ever see one of these for real.

it's a solid spread, provided they don't put the parallel fret at the 12th like ibanez did originally. i guess this will be another decent option for people to dip their toes into multiscale/ergs like agiles or harley bentons

Yep, 6 years ago I would have fallen out of my chair for this. But now I’m ho hum about it. BUT, they got that scale length right, IMO.

26.5" for a high E is mental, I'm turning you all in.

I haven't tried any other scale combination except of the one on my Henry Benton 8, which is 27-25.5 and I didn't had any problems with the scale...just picked and played
I'd really be way more comfortable with at least 27 on the top strings as I found my RG2228 the most comfortable guitar I have

Looking at the picture, neutral fret is the 9th
My first guitar is a cheap Cort and it's fairly decent. I upgraded to locking tuners, new pickups did a nice setup and I still use it for recordings. Even looks cool for a 120€ axe.
This new 8-strings doesn't really look pretty to me though. The shape is too round and the burst is not nice.

Wow, that looks pretty good. And 28-inch scale length on the lower strings is pretty good. And Fluence pickups. Wow! Anyone know prices yet on this model?

I like the scale choice, refreshingly long.
Body shape is too rounded and seems out of place on this kind of guitar. Extremely boring rounded superstrat. (i'm so sick of seeing superstrats and Fender bass copies).
The burl top and eye-bleeding quadruple-colour burst together are repulsive. Either on it's own may have been ok. It's almost as if Cort robotically detected 2 trends and decided both trends together can only be even better.
I do get the impression sometimes that Cort has a taste bypass, that they sometimes robotically attempt to design well but completely fail to. For example those guitars with pentagrams as fretboard dots, i love pentagrams, but that was so tacky and immature.
