love it, give it. good old architects
So much BLEGH
Looking forward to this album! great to still see them putting out bangers.
I just want another Hollow Crown. Sam is a fantastic vocalist though.
Hollow Crown / Ruin were their best, I have to agree.
But Daybreaker / Lost Forever were good albums too, and it's looking like this is the next step in that sequence, so I'm hoping this single is the Gravedigger of this album, the single that got a lot of exposure, but was (imo, don't shoot) one of the weakest tracks on the album.
Damn.. Sam's vocals always give me goosebumps! Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
Here's the latest song from the new album
I was just about to post that, sounds wayyyy better than that first song imo.
I completely agree with you there.
Gone with the wind is exactly what I hoped for, now I just have to wait for the song with the sick riffs
Heard "A Match Made In Heaven", and wow, that's intense, I may have jumped the gun here. Impressive.
Two days to go!
I liked Match Made in Heaven but after hearing Gone with the Wind I'm even more excited for the album. Its nice to know that they've used the same producers as LF//LT. That was an incredible album in terms of mixing (IMO)
...month and two days...
Yep, thats what I meant to say =/
My thoughts exactly. I just about laid a brick in my pants when the first few seconds of C.A.N.C.E.R. came in on my first playthrough. One of the most massive sounding mixes I've ever heard.
Really excited for this one, anxious for a new early song
New song and just a week till full album!
There appear to be some people on this thread who have nothing better to than to repeatedly come back and be negative about the new album even though no one is responding to their opinion. Anyway, I love Architects and this album seems to go from where LT//LF left off. You can't please everyone and I'm glad that there is some political message to the lyrics, even if the band members come off as somewhat pretentious. What do you expect from vegans?
I think it sounds a bit more pretentious because not many new bands are talking about politics.
As one of those people, I just happen to be disappointed in a band whose earlier work I happen to really enjoy. I keep hoping for some good stuff but it just doesn't appeal to me, therefore I'm voicing my grievances, as this is a discussion forum. I don't need anyone to react to it.
