Finally got a grail unicorn amp. I’ve been after a legit one of these ever since I learned about them being used on Fear Factory’s Demanufacture and Obsolete albums . The amp is insanely tight and percussive. All three gain stages seem to interact differently with each other and dictates the amps overall tone. I’m most likely going to profile it for Dino and or send it to him to play and do what he needs. I know fortin already has the mod info along with FJA. Regardless this is a sick amp

I've got an old metalhead as well, but she needs some wiring. i really need schematics to repair it properly, it is a spaghetti mess, and is in the shop. i've had it for a long time, and put significant hours into it, but lately it's been blowing fuses. i just want to get her back up nicely again

i emailed him on reverb, and explained that my fuses keep blowing which is either a power tube issue or a transformer issue. my problem is that the wiring is really rough, and the guy i took it to is going to send it to someone else that is more versed w/ these.

i will have some clips once i get mine up and running. but the bass boost on it was great the gain was really high and the sound was pretty clear.
