I know there are some Black Metal fans on this website, It's my favorite genre.
Agalloch(Although being a lot more then just "black Metal" if at all) is one of my favorites, The atmosphere they create is amazing.

So does anyone enjoy these guys, Excited for the new album?

It will be released in North America November 23rd and is entitled "Marrow Of The Spirit"

More about it can be read here:
Profound Lore Records - AGALLOCH - Complete New Album/West Coast Tour Imminent

For those of you who haven't heard them, here is a track from their 2006 release "Ashes Against the Grain"

One of my favorite bands to put some headphones on, Turn off the lights and drift away. The Musicianship in the band is incredible!

It was a tough choice to pick what song to post as they're all great and differ, Feel free to post more :agreed:

I didn't even know there was a new album out! Really appreciate the update! I don't think they've made a bad album as of yet and I really, really hope this won't be the first one! :p

And that reminds me that I gotta get around and watch the DVD someday...

Oh man, I can't wait. I listen to their older material regularly. Definitely one of my favorite bands. Too bad its only West Coast, I'd love to see them live.

!!! This is awesome. Totally unexpected, though it was way overdue. Loved Ashes and the Mantle. My dad even likes these guys haha. I came home one day a few years ago and there's Pale Folklore sitting on the kitchen counter.

I love this band, but I haven't followed them lately. Can't wait for this. Ashes Against The Grain is sooooo good.

Like so many others, I also greatly enjoyed The Mantle and Ashes Against The Grain. I've been waiting for them to release a new album pretty much since they released AATG. I know they released The White EP, but Agalloch's EP's just aren't for me, as nice as some of them are. Only their full length albums really do it for me.

Agalloch is awesome. Seeing them live in Milwaukee last year was the greatest concert I've ever seen. I cannot wait for their new album!!!
