Figured you would want pictures first!
So this is my newest acquisition after selling off some gear. It is an Agile Interceptor 928 with an ebony board. I haven't played it for all that much yet, but the guitar feels very solid and the neck feels great (I have rather large hands).

It is currently tuned right out of the box: C#-F#-B-E-A-D-G-B-E
However, as soon as my Circle Ks come in, I will be tuning to Carthage/NaYoN tuning: Ab-Eb-Ab-Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb

Now since I live in Baltimore and know NaYoN in real life, I have now played four 9 strings (the carbon fiber etherial and 3 agiles). This Agile would definitely rank right under the Etherial 9 string. The prototype intrepid and kahler-equipped 9 strings are good but do not feel as solid as this one. For $699+shipping, you can't beat it.

I will give a more proper review later, I just really want to go shred :fawk: But I guess it is so far so good! Nothing wrong with it at all and damn is it beautiful :agreed:

    Enjoy!!!

The wood and fretboard on this look very nice. Also, welcome to the dark side.

Bah! You're too young to remember the Epic Pict Stories of Days Gone By. Get off my lawn!

Seriously, nice score. I've been itching for one of those tuned: Ab-C-E-Ab-C-E-Ab-C-E. How's the string spacing at the nut?

    You are so right :yesway:

Thanks Rick! I should have photos on FB soon

Just pull the trigger already

I lurked for a while before that, so I know what you are talking about! And as far as string spacing goes it feels similar to my Intrepid that I used to have.

Doesn't say on site but it is walnut methinks.

    Cheers! Just get one

It feels good to be back to the club. Honestly, this kicks the pant off of my Intrepid pro 828 that I used to have.

Another thing about this guitar...the finish feels so good on my hands it is ridiculous. The Intrepid 828 that I had almost felt waxy/fake. This guitar feels a lot like how finely sanded wood feels and i dig that.

Also, the neck is MUCH thinner than I thought it would be. It is much thinner than my Intrepid's neck was and it feels like it might be thinner than the neck on my RG8.

Once I get the time, expect some clips. Probably this week coming week!

Incredible, especially for 699. I think Agile kind of gave up their low price points on the 8s, at least for a while, and now they have the 9 "market" (I have no idea how many 9 string guitars are sold, but I doubt it is much).

Enjoy! Your tone and playing is great! It could be a little tighter in the lower ranges, but it is still good.

Didn't know there were so many ERG dudes in Baltimore. I never see anyone playing ERGs at shows although I did play a Sidebar show with Nayon's band Carthage a year or so ago. Need to get another heavy project going...
