    I know I'll probably catch some flack for this, but I used to always listen the Bury Your Dead's album Cover Your Tracks. It's the perfect workout album, especially for doing cardio. It's heavy, but sort of mid-tempo. It sets a real nice pace for jogging. It's really corny, but there's a part in, I think the 5th track, where the vocalist yells "PICK IT UP!" And the song tempo kicks up about 20bpms and just sounds much heavier. It's quite motivating actually. :lol:

    yeah I'd agree with Bury your Dead man for sure. Also Unearth, August Burns Red, Acacia Strain, Born of Osiris, and fucking ADMIRAL ANGRY; wow that's fun to work out to. Meshuggah of course and ABORTED

    I try not to listen to anything that has technical guitar parts, otherwise I start doing this :hbang: instead of this :flex:. That's why I keep a nice stash of hardcore for working out.

    I've been listening to Clients by The Red Chord a lot lately, any Red Chord for that matter is good.

    When I'm not listening to that I usually listen to the Painted in Exile EP that they just released before xmas.

    I think i'm probably in the minority on this forum, but I really like listening to rap, and dance music when I workout. I don't know, for some reason it feels awkward to me to workout listening to metal, I just don't get the same drive for working out, metal gives you a more "angry" pumped feeling, I'd rather a "fun" push from music when working out if that makes any sense! :lol: For me that stuff just works better.

    Let the flaming begin! :ugh::lol:

    The album "addicted" by Devin Townsend is also awesome for training. Universe in a ball is AWESOME!

    im like that too actually, when i work out its usually rap/dubstep

    Most of the metal i listen to is far to interesting to be focused on reps than on the music.

    And the really heavy stuff just makes me want to punch things which doesnt end good
