So yeah, I celebrated my birthday a couple days ago by letting my parents take me out to the beach and it was really nice but on our way back we stopped in a music store and I wasn't expecting to walk out of there with anything. But my father got it for me. Here it is, I couldn't resist! :D

This guitar actually plays awesome. I just need to lower the action a little and it's perfect. Sounds fantastic too. I got it for 249.99. They had another one that was red and it was used going for 180. They also had a Stratacoustic. I'm glad I got the Tele though. :yesway:

Wow! I've never seen a Tele-coustic. Looks awesome...except for the neck heel. Looks huge. How does it feel? Also happy birthday!

Congrats. I'm usually not a big fan of Tele's but that's a pretty good looking guitar.

I had a Stratacoustic way back, pretty much the guitar I learned to play on in fact. Not that I had a very good ear or feel back then, but I thought it was good. Typical beach guitar.

Damn that teleacoustic is nice. I played a strat acoustic a few years back and it rocked my socks. Awesome guitars for the price. The finish on the back is cool also, I might have been imagining it, but I'm sure it helped keep the guitar in place. Some thin acoustics with rounded sides (Ovation...) just slide right off your leg. Awesome score mate!

I also have a mexican strat in the same colour as your strat, mine had the maple fretboard too, and seeing your photo makes me lament ever selling it. This is the second time in as many days that I have regretted selling that guitar.

Thanks guys. It sounds fantastic, plays great and sounds reaqlly through my effects. Also, very comfortable. I prefer thinner style acoustics anyway. I definitely happy with it. :yesway:
That's my first 7-string that i've had since 1998. It's an RG 7620 that used to be black. It's been refinished twice. :yesway:

Yeah, that Mexican Strat plays very nice. I acquired that as b-day gift as well about 9 years ago from Musician's Friend. It plays great! :yesway:

did you at least play the stratocoustic? i've been looking at getting one of those (either the telecoustic or the strat') for a long time but i didn't know if they'd play/sound good.

    :agreed:
