    NBD: Sire V2 P7 Fretless 5 String

Nabbed this earlier in March at the start of lockdown. I managed to get a second hand / B stock one for £350, so for a decent spec 5 string fretless, it's decent value for money.

I used to own a 4 string defretted Warwick Corvette, but sold it as I wasn't into 4 strings. This bass is cool, and is a far different experience to my Dingwalls.

Here's a living room picture of "reasonable guitars" (rest of my gear is in the office).

    That's purdy

Weird regular bridge with badass-knockoff saddles combination, though

    Congrats! Looks awesome.

I'm still totally jealous of that Millimetric. Really freaking cool.

It's a Millimetric MG6, from Canada. I posted it last year here: https://www.sevenstring.org/threads/ngd-millimetric-mg6-seafoam-marmite.338664/

It's a great guitar. Not to derail the bass chat, but I've had some issues with it unfortunately where the saddles aren't long enough to get the string intonation corrected, so there's further back and forth with the luthier to get longer saddles sent out to me!

How do you find the bass? I hear good stuff about the Marcus Miller stuff but I have not played any myself.

For the price, excellent. To be fair, I've not rehearsed with this bass and I'm getting back into the bass game, but the Sire feels it's punching well above its weight.

....the fretless picture has frets though.

Looks like the guitars are new, so either they messed up the website and there is no fretless guitar or they don't have pictures of the fretless and lefty version yet.
