...when it comes to a 26.5" or longer baritone 6 string, especially neck through. Wanting to tune in drop A

I'm not really a fan of Ibanez, and it doesn't seem they make too many NT anyways.

PRS is set neck, but not a fan of gloss necks either. Plus basically 28" scale.

I owned an Agile 6 and the neck was uncomfortable.

Maybe Solar? Not sure of the quality though.

Any other ideas, besides a 15 month wait on a Mayones?

kiesel does a lot of their 6s in 26.5
Balaguer let's you choose a range of scales for basically any number of strings.

solar should have a couple in that scale.

please don't call it a baritone though.

ESP MH-400B/Viper-400B? or an Ormsby GTR6 if you don't mind multiscale.

    Check out Jericho guitars

I’ve had great experiences with them and they are very much in to longer scales

After some of the nightmare stories I've heard about Kiesel I think I'll avoid him. Balaguer and Jericho look promising though.

Jericho guitars are very well built, have great features, and are priced pretty reasonably. Balaguers rapidly become $2000 import guitars if you put any options on them.

I agree that there are a dearth of baritone 6 strings on the market right now. Everything is either 7/8/9 string or an overly long Bass VI deal that doesn't play like a guitar.

Speaking as someone that owns a balaguer, they're very much worth the money. I'd put mine up against any of my more expensive guitars including my aristides. Besides, when schecter, ibby and jackson are asking into the near 2k range for questionably qc'd indo production guitars, then it's not unreasonable to pay 2k for a semi custom from korea.

Schecter has a number of Baritones. The C-1 EX Apocalypse comes to mind (with a 27" scale).

Might have been exaggerating a lil.

    like 3200

    neck through
    chambered
    multiscale
    plain maple top
    solid metallic color.

it's still pretty good comparatively. a vf scale regius like like 4500.
    but it ain't cheap.

Just remembered, but Cerberus Guitars have an import series in the future with 26.5 6s. They're a new brand but I believe the company is run by The Guitarmory and maybe LSL Instruments, but that just might be for the USA stuff.
