My new Suhr came in yesterday.

    And I really dig it. Waited five months which isn't bad at all for a completely custom build especially in this part of the world.

    It was interesting getting to spec all the details, really had to spend some time figuring out what I'm comfortable with and what I wanted out of a guitar.

    Specs as far as the woods go are basswood/maple top. Roasted 5A maple neck and jumbo stainless steel frets.

    Plays like a dream and is everything I wanted out of a guitar :)

    Thise guitars are the most versatile I ever tried... and Suhr pickups are very much underrated!!

    The back is "just" opaque black with a cutout for a potential tremol-no.

    Dude - Great looking axe! Reminds me a bit of the RG721 which i've always pined over due to the great looks. Also cool you chose basswood on such a guitar, you don't see that everyday.
