Here are some photos of my latest build, which I am naming the Highline Voodoo 7. The body and neck are carved from Black Limba. It will feature my own hand-wound humbuckers and a Hipshot bridge and tuners. Let me know what you think.

Looking good, man! The fretboard is so red, almost like Cedar - what is it?

    Welcome to the forums!

Looks like a modern take on the classic Hamer Scarab! Love it!

Thanks! The fretboard is Pau Ferro (aka Bolivian Rosewood). Usually, this wood is more brown, but this piece has a red hue. I suspect it will turn brown when I oil it. We'll see.

A new photo showing my process for finishing. I like to apply Danish Oil by rubbing it into the wood with 1,000 wet/dry sandpaper. Later I will sand to 4,000 grit and polish on my buffing machine.

Awesome job man. I have been following you building it on your facebook page. I have seen other guitars that you have built and all of them have been cool!
BTW - Thanks for all the tips you gave me when I was building my first guitar!

Installed the bridge, pickups and controls on the Highline Voodoo 7 string. The master volume and tone knobs are push/pulls for coil tapping each humbucker.
