It needs a setup, but I'm very pleased. It just feels right. Unfortunately I've gotta crash to get up at 4:00 am for work tomorrow.

Did I mention I got it for about the price of that case new? It's like it's been sitting in a closet for 7 years.

Lucky you! That's a damn nice first 7-string. Just get new pickups in there, and it'll kick some serious ass.

Thanks guys. It needs some serious TLC, even for a pretty pristine guitar because it's been neglected for so long. It needs a full cleaning/polishing and setup. The bridge is sitting at a 15-20 degree angle because it doesn't have enough spring tension. But never fear, I'm going to get started on it tonight after I stop off at the shop for some more supplies and a new set of strings. I'll take some better pics when I'm done.

I'm up a little north of DFW, though I love the Hill Country. My goal is to move back out there sometime in the not too distant future.

The Hill Country is great. My grandfather used to own a ranch out in Bandera. Beautiful, beautiful area up there.

I don't think you'll need to dye the fretboard, but it sure does look thirsty as hell.
