Is there anybody in the Miami/surrounding area own a multiscale guitar? Doesn't matter if it is a 6,7,8 or 19 string guitar. I have been wanting to try out multiscale guitars for a while now and before I put the down payment on my custom Ran Guitar I want to kind of see how it feels before hand.

I am not looking to buy your guitar (although depending on if it is for sale and if I like it I might), I just want to try it out fr a few minutes and see how it feels, so if anybody would like to help me out that would be great!!

    Thank you

Can't help you due to my location. However, I own a multiscale Ormsby and another multiscale I built in Ormsby's guitar course. I've had about 4 people who are completely new to the concept play them these past few weeks. 2 of the 4 transitioned without issue, immediately. The other 2 eased into it after about 10 minutes of playing. All 4 wanted a multiscale in the end. :)
Pablo Salinas of Sinfonity recently got one and he can't stop praising it.
That said. Each builder does multiscale guitars differently, some better than others. I hope for your peace of mind you can find one to try.

That is extremely helpful, thank you! I would still like to try one though but I do not feel uneasy about placing my order. Are they 8 strings? What are your scale lengths? I'm going for a 7 with standard 25.5/27 scale

The custom sx6 Ormsby is well, a 6 stringer, and the other is a 7 string.
    6er is roughly 25.5-27.5 and the 7 is 25.5-27.8 I think.

    Obligatory pics.

They look beautiful. How much was the 7 if you don't mind me asking?
