I'm pretty sure 3 is an Uber. I get that vibe because of the two vents you can see through the cloth.

EDIT: Or a Bogner XTC if we're going by Spinedriver's details.

Heck, I might even say 002 is based on a JCM900 or DSL because they seem to be going for.. uh... out-there amps. I mean out of all the Diezels they choose the Hagen, for Engls the Blackmore, and Mesas the Mark 3.

Cheap miniature cutesy junk. They'll probably sell well and people will talk them up because they're cute, cheap and easy to collect so they won't expect much... so as long as they're not truly horrible they'll be considered a win but in the end they'll be another subpar pedal trying to sound like something it's not and end up collecting dust or be something you give away to a beginner friend after you're bored.

I don't know man. Have you tried the AMT Preamps?

I ended selling my 6505 because I enjoyed the P2 going into a solidstate poweramp more than I enjoyed my 6505.

Mini preamps have come along way and so has amp modeling (see AxeFx, Helix, Positive Grid Bias, etc.)

With the Koch & Two Rock pedals, they certainly aren't afraid to model 'boutique' amps.

Hopefully, they'll decide to do a 2nd round and put out one for VHT & Rivera.. :agreed:

I saw a video today where they said they already have 10 more designs they will release of these first 10 are successful. I'm betting they will be. I'm excited to try one in a pedal based rig I'm currently building. Hoping for a VHT in round 2 also!

Thing is, given the success of the Tech 21 pedals as well as the AMT Legends, I'm sure these will sell quite well. You're getting a 2 channel pedal w/ defeatable cab sim out for $99. There are dozens of pedals out there that cost a lot more than these ones do that sound horrible, so once some decent demos start popping up, I'm sure there will be plenty of "out of stock" notices popping up on retailers' websites.

I think these little guys look pretty cool. I'm looking at buying a new amp in the near future, and I think I might pick one or two of these up to supplement it. Ola's demo sounds great but so do all of his other demos. I look forward to hearing some others.

So let me get this straight... I can run one of these preamp pedals into that power amp pedal and straight into a cab? Really? If that's the case, then this is one of the coolest pieces of gear I think I've seen. I'm sure some of you are like, "Yea yea, in other news, man lands on the moon," but this is the first time I'm seeing this.

    Ouch!
I'd pay that much if it had depth and presence controls, though
