Hey all, I'm nearing completion of my fourth custom build and with each iteration they are getting better than the one before (mostly). I'm thinking about going back to several previous builds and doing some major work on them (thinner necks, SS frets, re-finish).

Just curious how many of you go back and try to "fix" previous guitars, or just let it be and move on.

Any luck selling self built customs to fund the construction of a new custom?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, couldn't find anything searching.

The first guitar I ever built has been redone once before, and I'm currently refinishing it again. New fretboard, SS frets, string thru bridge, new paint etc.

Until I've built/repaired 100 guitars or so I think it's just good practice.
