Man, if you were ever a fan of these guys, then there's absolutely no way you wont dig this! I was a little worried they would change too much with the departure of Ken Susi from the band, but goddamn. Buz Mcgrath went in dry on this. Great writing and playing as usual. Can't wait for this album :hbang:

Sounds like a super solid Unearth track, what happened to Ken?

He's been touring with As I Lay Dying as Nick Hipa's replacement for the past year but apparently Ken and Unearth had unrelated philosophical differences so he decided to take a step back and go on a hiatus because he felt like he would hold them back. At least that's what i remembering him saying on one of his Livesteams a while back

I knew neither of these things haha.
Always liked Unearth but after a while same with a lot of bands of the time they started to sound very similar. Keen to see this!
EDIT: A lot of this actually threw me off, but the middle part of the song I really enjoyed, just didn't get the start or end.

This rips. I've been a massive fan since high school and I'm stoked there's gonna be new music to help me survive sleepless nights with a newborn.

Gonna guess based on some social media shit from over the pandemic and the Lambgoat comments that the philosophical differences are political

Ah, Chest Rockwell, how we miss thee.
Indeed. I once to got to play his silverburst LACS S series, literally just chatted to him about it after a small London show and he handed it over. It was really thick in the centre, much more like a carved top ESP Horizon than an S, he was saying that he didn't ask for it to be done, just turned up that way.

I don't play 7's anymore, but his LTD Sig is what I would get if I had a need to.

Pictures of guitars I don't even own anymore!

I've played a couple of the newest variant. Killer guitars, actually, even if I can't deal with the recessed trem.

Buz was cool to hang with, even if I wasn't much of a fan of the band. Great guy, great player.
