Anyone else super hyped about the Mayones Duvell Elite pro that was posted on their Instagram? I mean damn its about time they added Floyd to these duvells, I would love to try a 7 string version. I'm hoping they release a seven version out the gate too.

That Dirty red is pretty awesome too, the open pore isn't for me but I can deal with it.

Looks super nice, love my normal Duvell an Elite with a Floyd would be so sick.

The trem goes with that body style perfectly. I love the hefty baseplate on those Schaller’s too.

If I could actually afford one, it would be my dream guitar. Always loved the Duvells, but I always wanted a Floyd option. Hopefully one day I can order one.

I agree the shape is meant for a Floyd. I wonder if there is a option to paint the back wood. Or does that make it a full on custom?

I don't think you'd want to paint a wenge neck with all the huge open pores.

Oh I should have specified the body wood not the neck. I haven't seen any duvells with a painted body wood.

Wow, that looks killer! I wonder what they would charge for a fan fret 7 string version.

In other Duvell-like news, they've also announced a Hydra with trem, which very much has my attention...

Anyone know anything about (EU) pricing yet? Asked the source a couple of days ago but no reply yet.

Did they do that for you or did you cut into your own guitar? I want an Elite Pro but I vastly prefer an edge over an OFR.

He had it done after receiving the guitar. They didn't offer any double locking trem until now.

For duvell users, how would you describe the neck. And. Does it have slightly rolled fretboard edges?

Thin oval, not flat like an ibanez but comfy. The edges feel fine I guess? I've never noticed them either way.

Even though I hate floyd rose bridges, the Duvell seems sexier with a floating trem, unfortunately. Also, are they releasing a stock model with Hipshot Countours in them?

It's a normal thin C shape profile, nothing special. The amazing part for me is how the wenge feels in your hand, aside from just being confortable and fast, you can also feel the small crevices of this porous wood, I dunno, it's just a satisfying feel. Bonus points for it being gorgeus, wenge is such a beautiful wood. I don't think the frets are rolled off but the crowning is just perfect, not a single sharp edge, very smooth feeling.

Dealer got back to me, the Duvell Elite Pro 6 will retail for €3100, the Hydra Pro 6 for €3200. I guess one can extrapolate for 7's looking at the "regular" 6 to 7 difference.

Thanks for the feed back on the neck!

Anyone see a duvell with a painted back body wood? I have only seen natural wood.
