I have a modern player tele and have been having some work done on it. The last thing that I'd like to do is have some neck work done. What I can't decide on is getting bigger frets and new nut put on or buying a warmoth neck with those appointments.

    Pros, cons, thoughts, opinions?

Yeah, Warmoth neck. I have an American Deluxe, and the neck and frets are closer to a Charvel in feel than most teles I have played. I like mine. Warmoth can get you there.

Ok, next question. How long does it take warmoth to get back with you? I contacted them last Friday.

Give them a few days. As a former employee there, I can assure you that they'll get back to you, but they are sitting on an average of 2 -4 business days of emails and online orders. They're not a large corporation, they are a family owned business of about 50 employees servicing the world.
