Seemed the most appropriate place to put this thread (mods move if required)

I am looking for a guitar teacher around Melbourne. Eastern side of the city.

I need help on my picking technique, more specifically switching between palm muting and non-palm muting, and want someone who is a hard task master, completely honest, but not a complete prick.

Would like my whole technique analysed to show me where I need to adjust/change/start again.

Not looking at learning to shred, but if that comes along, :shred:.

I would like to take my playing to the next level fairly quickly.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Doug Steele is in Hawthorn. Really down to earth dude, Ibanez Clinician, great player:

Reviewed his website and a Flatstick album when my www.shred-reviews.co.uk was up and running (now defunct) - lots of love for Doug :)

His buddy James Ryan is in Lynbrook. Same applies except he works for and favours Fender:

Hope you find what you're looking for.

(Wish I had some teachers of this standard nearby - fuck you UK!!)
