I've been sort of wanting a Dargie JP for the longest time, been waiting for them to reissue it, and have my Reverb feed on the prowl. This popped up. I'm not a fan of the majesty shape but this is the closest I've ever been to wanting one! I believe it's a slightly different color this time -- more of a satin bronzey color, whereas previous dargies were more lime gold.

*IF* you're going to do a Majesty:

    (1) getting rid of inlaid shover
    (2) black hardware
    (3) no inlay

Are all pluses in my book. I think this color suits this shape better than the greener colors, but still waiting for them to do something on a JP. Seems like too much to ask of them to do two new dargies in a year though. Or even in many years.

No Martini inlay and gross army/puke green, way to go EBMM.

I think it's one of the EBMM employee's last names or something? Practically, it's just a greenish custom color limited run they've done a couple times.

Oh, right. Thanks for the explanation. I'm eyeing an artisan soon myself, but being between jobs I'll wait a bit.

Why is it a different colour from the other ones? This is making me irrationally irritable*.

*OK I already was irrationally irritable but this hasn't helped.

The first two were already different colours. The first one was lime green, then the second is more of a flip flop.

No inlays and a solid color? This is very classy by Majesty standards.
