This, I want to see.
I love everything you posted, but you're the poster boy for entitled white guy nerd rap douchebaggery.
and DJ Screw was from Houston, not Dallas.
Not a lot of rap in Serbia, eh? ...because that just sucked my colon to a mirror finish. "Bur, bur, sumin, sumin". We had a rapper back in Portland [not exactly the galactic center of hip hop] LITERALLY with down syndrome that was more enjoyable than any of that... seriously, look him up.
Dude... it's Texas... c'mon... like it maters, Serb.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, buddy, and have been a Company Flow fan since the 90s.
and there is a big difference between Dallas and Houston. Houston has one of the most influential rap scenes ever, Dallas hardly had three decent rappers come out of it.
keep bumping those Atmosphere records and cutting yourself to them though.
Woo hoo, DLG, The Cable Guy... Jersey. Color me impressed.
Sorry for being such a fuckin' nerd around you. Go back to fuckin' goats on 'The Shore', or 'Da South', or wherever you prefer to copulate with animals and pick on intellectualism, or whatever it is you do. I'll send you a tin of Skoal to apologize for my transgressions on your people, just PM me the address. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Readin' for fags anyway. Sorry I didn't get that.
Also, best of luck to Lil Wayne and his skateboarding career. I'm sure he'll rip just as hard as his guitar forays.
You have slightly opened my eyes to Wayne. Although, I will counter that with this:
there's no doubt that he's put out a lot of garbage and that he has been very shitty and mediocre since Carter 3, but when he was on, Wayne was nice as hell. That's all I'm saying.
Yea, I agree with you. I never knew he had jems like the freestyle you posted, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
never change bro, hip hop needs you.
All this over Lil Wayne. Apparently he's more important than I thought. I remember once watching an episode of Community in which Shirley berates this old man for his dumb YouTube videos:
Shirley: "I've seen your YouTube channel. Who cares about your opinion on various frozen pizzas?!"
Old Man: "You're talking about it..."
Hey, Leonard's reviews on frozen pizzas are more poignant, better articulated, and more useful than anything Lil' Wayne has ever done.
So lil wayne quit rapping, and thep was all
and variant was all
and then DLG was all
And the whole time I was listening to Busta Rhymes, watching the whole thing and being all
Busta Rhymes ftw
I think the only thing he's done that I didn't really like that much was that Pussy Cat Dolls song, and honestly, who could blame him? If that flock of fine females asked me to work with them I'd have a hard time saying no too.
Busta Rhymes has been embarassing for about 10 years actually.
he went from being one of the most innovative voices in hip-hop to basically getting really fat and doing nothing but boring hubalabuballawobbaladiggtywiggity speed raps as guest verses on the tracks of any young rappers who would have him.
still love all his early LONS/Native Tongues stuff and all his solo albums up to Genesis though.
so here's the rundown so far.
1. lil wayne was an excellent rapper in his prime.
2. busta rhymes is terrible now.
3. Variant doesn't know who Rakim is.
