Feel free to ask questions or make offers. No trades unless there is a significant dollar amount included, please and thanks. I will only sell gear until I've reached a certain dollar amount, so get it while getting's good :hbang:

bump, few offers but nothing solid.

EDIT: forgot to mention, truss cover on the KXK is missing but Rob is making another and sending it out. If this sells before I recieve it, I'll have him ship to the new address. No prob, Rob has been top notch in customer service these past few years to me.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'd like to offer some history. I sold this a while back to a member here for just under 4k when I was in some financial binds, who had some issues wiring and requiring the pickups (apparently Robs wiring scheme isnt industry standard? My tech had me ask him when I got it back). He sold it for 2k, which is REDONKULOUS. The new owner didn't like mahog guitars at all but gave this one a shot, and sold it back to me for 2.4k to get cash back on a new deal. I had my tech rewire, add more shielding and new pots to put it back to better than stock as it had a little more hum when tapped than I liked.

All that said, this is obviously worth far more to me personally than 2.4k, and you can't get them made anymore, so I won't be entertaining taking a major hit on my asking price. When I price something, it's usually already where I want it to sell, simply because I think it's easier than playing the bargaining game. I've been selling here a long time, and negotiating offe after counter offer isn't my game anymore. Thanks all, and feel free to ask any questions. This instrument absolutely is as tops as Robs work is known to be!

Man, that KxK is insane! If I didn't have a guitar on order I would buy that thing like today. But i swear GAS hits at the worst times :(. Oh well, hopefully it's still around in a little. Good luck with the sale.

OK, I don't typically feel the need to explain myself, but I'll do so here for the sake of some clarity. so I was negged a day or two ago for "making money" off my asking price for the KxK, and have had a few messages to that end since I posted the instrument's history a few days ago. To anyone who feels played, I don't know why the guy I sold this to decided to take such a massive loss on this instrument, but I imagine it has to do with rampant G.A.S. as he only had it for maybe a month from what I can tell. I don't have that problem, and honestly don't want to sell this guitar at all. I absolutely love it, and the price I set for it is the price it will take to get me to let it go. If you don't agree with the price, we'll agree to disagree and I just wont sell it to you. It's as simple as that. At the end of the day, either someone will get an amazing piece of gear, or I'll get to keep it and if I ever NEED to sell it down the line maybe i'll price it to move.

    Bump

Are you sure that isn't a RG2228A?? I'm pretty sure it is... I mean, just so everyone interested knows what to look up. Because I'm pretty sure they are significantly more rare than just some plain ol' RG2228. Anyone can paint an RG2228 white but RG2228A's are routed for active pickups and come with D'Activators

Can you tell me a little about how to guitar bridge is blocked on the JP6?

Also how do you feel the rosewood neck affects the tone of the guitar overall?

It's blocked with a cut piece of compressed maple lightly glued between the bridge block and the back of the cavity, you can still dive on it just fine and it always returns to 0. Plus the block is easy to remove. As far as the neck, it makes the guitar a little darker, a little fatter but the fundamental note is very present. I've had 3 rw necked guitars and it's been pretty similar on all of them, but this one in particular just makes the notes a little weight-y-er if that makes sense lol. Honestly I don't want to move it at all, I imagined this one being in my family 30 years from now =(
