    cost so far:
    61$ - graphtech nut/hipshot tuners (all new)
    15$- new poplar board
    20$- leftover maple board for neck
    30$-richlite fretboard (either black or blonde, haven't decided yet)
    20$- leftover duncan distortion
    3$-volume pot (leftover)
    10$- output jack (new)
    7.50$- leftover nickel fretwire
    5$- leftover volume knob
    total: 171.50$
    no pics worth showing off right now, it's just a pile of parts and wood. I haven't even started gluing or cutting anything.

    By far the hardest part of any build. until you find one that you like, then you can just reuse it over and over again to infinity....

    i'm tapping out of the summer challenge. I've been super busy with work and finishing up other projects. I'll get around to building this eventually, but not in time for the deadline.
