Maybe I'm not familiar with the song. It sounds similar to the chords from the 1980's R&B hit by Bill Withers et. al., but the feel of what your playing is more of an old-timey swing jazz arrangement.

Either way, cool lesson! I'll have to try some improv over these chords later this evening.

I've always played this one in Db. While those slash chords work, everyone I've ever played this tune with puts the root in the bass throughout. I think this is pretty close to how I've played it but this isn't a commonly called tune in my area.

I change the tonality because I try to play this chordmelody.
