I bought the M80M from American Musical Supply on a 12 pay plan. Cant wait to get it, and bust out some heavy songs. I used to have an SC-608B, so I am excited to get another 8 string.

Anyone else here have an M80M?

I played one for a bit at a Sam Ash, really solid guitar.

Neck plays great, and the scale felt very natural coming from a 27 inch 8 string and 26.5 inch 7 string.

It even sounded nice through one of the small Blackstar Fly Amps.

Some brands might offer better quality for the price (IE: Ibanez Prestige, Schecter, Kiesel, etc...), but it's definitely a solid instrument that I'm sure you will enjoy.

I've only ever seen and played the M8M (expensive version) in the SF GC. It's was a beautiful, loud, beast of a guitar.

I have one and it has been my main guitar since Feb of 2014 and I love it!
Everyone has their preferences and it's all subjective but from scale length to wood choices and pickup, this guitar has everything I need in an string and it sounds Phucking killer.

    Love mine.
Got it early in 2015, used from GC.
    Sounds killer.
    It's a beast.

Yep, I haven't been playing mine much lately - not currently in an 8 string phase - but I'm not letting go of it. It's an absolutely killer instrument.

I was all psyched up to have it routed for a neck pickup, but it just isn't warranted. The Lundgren pickup and the tone control give me all the variation I need.

That pickup is one of the best I've ever use. Clear, tight, and very articulate.

The locking nut and fixed bridge with micro tuners is something I wish more guitars had.

    Enjoy! You won't regret it.

Oh yeah, that neck profile is made of win.

Got one also and I love it. It is not just a great baritone 8 string, but a great guitar in general.

Am I the only one who found the neck a tad uncomfortable?
I ended up sending mine to a friend to have some modifications.
He made the neck a little thinner and removed the shoulders on it, as it was the main thing I disliked about it.

Also added some paint and blue luminlays. Ja ja, I'm a tulip guy too.
