I didn't expect that.I can agree with him
Good for him. Fun to see these kind of guitarists play something else than vintage Fender and Gibson!
This guy SHREDS and has a killer tone:
7 of his touring amps are for sale locally where in live. Oceanside, CA. I was just looking at the CL ad.
Blues Dads morphing into Rock Dads before our very eyes
Well, this is out of left field. I like it. It'd be cool to seem him do an 80s hard rock/metal styled album or EP, but I'm not really counting on it.
I remember seeing some video of him going through his rig, and his Silver Jubilee sounded amazing. The balls on that amp were enormous.
Eh, he uses EBMM Petruccis live all the time - not too much of a stretch to move to Charvel for that sort of thing, even if he is more associated with LPs.
^ Wasn't aware of that. Then again, I'm only a casual fan of his.
Yup - Royal Albert he was all over that thing:
Ugh, I actually posted a direct link to the time but it got gobbled up by the autoformatting. Check 5:57.
What's the point of having two drummers?
Also, still seems kind of weird to see him playing a VH style guitar.
Joe is a huge gear nerd. He plays all kinds of stuff. As said he has played a baritone JP live for years and has a custom EBMM Morse as well. He is like all of us, just he has the means to act on all of his GAS.
Eddie Van Bonamassa
He plays quite a few EBMM's, also. He isn't only a Gibby/Fender guy.
Also, this guitar is ugly as .... but I want it.
I think this charvel has much higher value than his Ebmm. He does play Ebmm but he puts this one in his collection.
I'd say they're equal. Custom EBMMs made to his specs vs a Charvel from their first year of making guitars.
I like Bonamassa's guitars more than I like his music .
