Reluctantly listing one of my favorites. This is a 2006 Custom Shop Soloist with a reverse headstock, unpainted neck, and a rarely seen feature on these guitars - a maple board. Not just maple either, it's a killer birdseye board. I'm actually not a fan of maple boards though, which is why I'm considering letting this go, but I know there are those who love them.

This is an amazing guitar - so much so that I bought it once, traded it, then traded for it back with something I paid more for than what I bought it for the first time. It currently has its original EMG, but it once had a passive, so it won't need any additional routing if you'd like to change it out.

Condition-wise, it's very clean for an all black guitar that's over 10 years old. Aside from some swirling there's a very minor ding under the strings, right where the neck pickup would normally be.

The only reason I'm listing this is to fund another purchase. That said, if it sells before this, I'll be taking the listing down. That also means I'm not interested in any trades outside of maybe another reverse headstock Custom Shop Jackson (with an ebony board) or possibly a Custom Shop BC Rich Beast.

Asking price is $2100 shipped and it's pretty firm.

They made 3 of these. I have 1 which I gladly purchased off of Reverb for $1800. It was pictured over some wood floors when I found it. The guy from Jackson told me that their were 3 made exactly the same and that he assumed they were made for some guitarist who was likely endorsed by Jackson. I would buy the other 2 if I could find them.
