Anyone own one of the DK2 Modern Evertune 7s? Looks like mostly what I want in a guitar, just wondering what the QC is like on these, I'm super hesitant to pickup anything from Jackson after some massive duds the last few years.
Those are Korean, right? I don't think I've played a bad Korean one yet. The "baked" DK2s I've played have all been good.

My warrior has a reverse headstock and fits into the SKB style cases (the "form fitted" ones). Not sure how, or if that case is special. YMMV

You can see some of it here:

Hmmm maybe it is possible. I took a couple photos of attempting to align the DXMG in the case - I was sort of able to get it in, but it's right up against the side and I'm not sure it would be able to shift that far over if it was actually on the Warrior body. I guess I should just give it a go!

Some slick stuff in here! I have a 90's Jackson Soloist pro that I got in pretty bad shape. Truss rod nut was completely stripped, frets were wrecked, fretboard all chewed up. Got a stainless refret, new schaller baseplate, and some shitty paint job for fun with a legit military octane stencil from the 60s. I absolutely love this thing. Set up with 9-46 a half step down and she eats. I've since gotten rid of the neck pickup and rock a single 59/custom hybrid in the bridge with two single coil covers screwed into the single routes. She's dangerout

Well, I put the DXMG neck on my WRMG and unfortunately it just doesn't fit too comfortably in the case. I can squeeze it in, but I'd be worried about the constant pressure against the tip since the body doesn't shift around at all. I wonder if the position of the body cutout in the case has changed just a bit over the years to angle the neck away from the case handle or something because everything else about the inside of the cases looks identical from what I've seen.

I want to swap the neck of my WRMG and DXMG but it doesn't look like it'll fit in the SKB case I have (the one they're selling now) because the reverse headstock will stick out the side. Does anyone know if the older rectangular fitted Warrior cases would fit a reverse headstock Warrior or if there's another case that would be good? This is the one I'm thinking of:
That case looks like it'd work for a reversed headstock. I have a Kelly and I did what you plan to and it fits in the case. My Kelly came in one of them old and huge Jackson cases.

Any reason NOT to get a js32 DKA and not like a SLX or something? I really want a floyd superstrat and js32 DKA is one of the more economical options. Is the sentiment still that Chinese JS series stuff is decent for the price but the Indo X series still kind of isnt?

For the most part, yes. My $200 JS22-7 plays better than imports from most brands in the $500-600 range. That said, I have picked up a couple X series Jacksons recently that felt really nice while putzing around at GC. Namely the crackle ones, but those are also 3-4x the price of a JS and neither have paticularly good Floyds to begin with. They have the same pickups as well, I believe which, all things considered, are super nice for the price.

I guess it comes down to aesthetics a bit, and whether or not you can live with a block heel bolt-on. For the X series I'd recommend playing it before buying, or else go with a place with a good return policy. The JS I'd feel a bit more comfortable buying sight unseen given the price.

Locally there is a Jackson DKMGT for sale. I could pick it up for $200 bucks. It’s made in Japan and has EMGHZ pickups. Should I go for it?

Yes. I would and I don't even especially like those.

That's a killer deal. Those have gone up a bit in price on the used market.
