To me, a "classic" Tele has a thick body with no contours, bolt on neck, pickguard-mounted T-style neck pickup, and a T-style bridge pickup mounted in the bridge plate, and the top-routed electronics control plate. I'm not a vintage purist by any means, so I guess I'm fairly flexible as far as fretboard material and radius, body wood, 6 vs 3 saddles, etc.

That said, my favorite guitar in the world is my Carvin TL60, which fits almost none of the "purist" requirements other than the body style  neck thru construction, 5 piece neck, 24 stainless frets, 25" scale, dual humbuckers, rear-routed control cavity, no pickguard, pickup rings, neck volute, tummy contour, etc. :D I also have a Warmoth Thinline Tele that's a bit more traditional as far as construction, hardware, and electronics, but it has noiseless pickups, modern style truss rod adjustment, and a reverse headstock. Super sexy.

lol thanks, This is her... Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider T in Oceanside Green Sparkle with a dark roasted maple neck, korina body chambered around the neck joint, compound radius (10”-14”), stainless steel saddles, push-pull phase switch, locking tuners, and dual-action truss rod. Really articulate tone and super solid tuning stability... love her!

I've had my eye on a Wildwood Special one to match my Washburn Laredo Custom Shop. I absolutely LOVE Reverend guitars. Glad you're still in love with yours.

You definitely need to post some videos if you haven't already! :yesway:
