My local Indigo store has a picture of two girls absolutely SHREDDING an RG752 on the wall. Most metal teenage bookstore section in history.

You can also see the low B is bringing a terrifying dose of fun.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with Max. It isn't a 752 or 7620, they have dimarzios, and those look like Ibanez pickups. So, likely a 7420.

Thought it looked like a 752GK initially. What gives it away as a 7420?

It’s cool anyway that they chose an Ibby 7 rather than a black strat prop as most stock seems to do.

    Pickups, bridge, condition, intuition.

Usually, when they need props like this, they just ask if anyone has a guitar and go with what's available. The picture is likely from a stock photo library.

I'm mostly just impressed you still have bookstores in Canada.

You can also tell by the size of the dots on the neck. The MIJ 7420/7620 and 21 had slightly larger fretboard dots then the current 752 models.

She also has both a Chapman and Ethereal endorsement. Signature ProTone drops next week.

Square tabs for pickups is the giveaway. 7620 and 752 had DiMarzio triangle tabs. However without a clear shot of the trem we are also looking at the possibility of a very early 1527 with the larger dots and scarf jointed headstock.

In the US there are very few book stores left, largely because Amazon started with book selling in the ‘90s. We used to have Border’s books (and their subdivision Waldenbooks), but that went out of business a few years ago. Then we have Barnes and Noble, which has drastically reduced the number of stores they have. You have to actively seek out a bookstore these days, rather than just expect one in every town. Which is a bummer because I’m one that used to like to hang out in bookstores, and buy books (that I would imagine myself reading, but never would ). It’s weird, because I remember people saying not to shop in those big chains, and instead support the small, independent shops. And then a MUCH larger fish came along, and eliminated much of those chains.

The Edge Pro would be a dead giveaway with the light Cosmo finish and bright silver saddle chips.

Did the early 1527s have the EP?
