Ibanez Rg7321 - is it good?

    for the price you can't really beat it. very comparible to the RG7621 and 7421, but you get a cool binding! these dominate over anything in thier class. they play like a much more expensive guitar. and if you decide to put in different pickups as roland said (i actually thought the stock ones are decent, though a bit dark) it will slay anything.

    That's not really a "but". It's a good thing to do - you shouldn't hold the stock pickups against it. It smokes in every other aspect.

    well, the 7321 is the same wood as a UV... so are the pickups the only real difference, besides "build quality"?

    Ah.....depends. If we're getting into the real nitty gritty of things then the neck woods aren't as well cut as a UV which can (but doesn't always) make a difference to stability. The fretwire on 7321's is quite a bit softer than a UV's so will wear quicker. There's a bunch of other tiny little things that don't affect things much, but primarily it's hardware quality.

    UV also has medium frets..
