    I miss that guitar.

I recall buying one on craigslist for $100 that someone carved their name on and then spray painted blue but never put back together. I spent about a month hunting parts for it and restoring it, used it at one show at an LA strip club, amazing neck and sound!

    Then I sold it because 7-Strings :(

Pretty much a dream 6 string of mine.

Fix her up right pondman! Although, I don't think there is any way that you could do it wrong...

How did you clean it so well? Did you sand down to the bare wood with plans to refinish the maple fretboard? I personally like the yellow/aged fretboard look, but it's also fun to start fresh and create your own dirt!

Spent about 20 min cleaning the ferret tonight. I left the last 6 frets so you can see the difference.
After doing the first few frets I realised that the board had been re-lacquered at some stage but the idiot that did it forgot to clean the board first and just painted over all the crap
After lightly sanding a few frets I decided the whole lot need levelling and dressing. Laters for that one.

    ^^

    Yes. :agreed:

But that ferret board looks a lot healthier… probably because every ferret needs a regular clean :D

Keep up the good work pond-sir.
