I found a red Ibanez 1570 for sale here in ATL. Original with case, good condition

    What is a fair price?

ask for 600, you'll probably sell for 400-500

To clarify, I am looking to buy it.

I offered $450, he said he'll pass, oh well

When he comes back to you tell him you can only do 400 now.

Guitar Center has one for the price you offered (link). Not sure how condition compares, though.

Lol did you even look at the pics?

Op sub 500 1570s come around often just be patient. Look for one with upgraded pickups, they're the best value 6 string on the market.

Also the mirage finishes are sick

Haha he didn't seem in a rush to sell it, been on Craig's list for a couple months now.

Yeah I'm in no rush, just looking for the right deal. Also agreed on the mirage finish. If I found a blue mirage with case and dimarzio pups I'd jump on it.

If anyone wants to sell me one I'm right here :wavey:

He said he'd do $500, but that's too much, especially since I don't care for the finish that much

Yeah I saw that one, condition is a little rough haha.

A GC here in ATL had a black 570 with case in good condition for $390, I should have bought it

I mean, if you think you can restore it, I would make GC an offer on that one...I've actually had good luck haggling GC in the past, but I used to work at a pawn shop, so I have had quite a bit of practice haggling.

If you aren't interested in anything in that sort of condition, though, then just pass.

The point is that it's not the most rare guitar, so I'm sure if you keep eyes scanning the interwebs, you'll be able to find a decent specimen for a good price in a few months.

i had the mirage red and it's almost black in nature, very dark
you can see some color change only under certain light
    didn't like it
probably the same with the blue one
i'd prefer the solid red tbh, but that's me

No it looks like royal blue to a gem green, sparkles under bright lights, looks sick under stage lights.

The one you linked isn't even a 1570... not even close...

There is one on ebay, looks like it has upgraded pups, nice cosmetic condition. Paint looks like a sparkly black color, might even be mirage blue. Bad input jack, but I can easily replace that, just did that on my RG7420.

Lesson one: when you find a great deal and want to buy it, don't advertise it on a public forum and bump it

Yeah it's already getting too pricey, will probably finish over $600 at this rate. I don't think that is correlated to this post though
