Hey everyone. A few years ago I scored a used RG1527z for a good price, I knew that it would need some work to get it back into shape. However, life got in the way, and it ended up neglected in its case for a long time. I've finally decided that it's time to give this guitar the tlc it deserves.
The previous owner definitely made his mark on this one, and I inherited a lot of corrosion, scratches and dings.
What is the best method of restoring corroded guitar parts? As you can see, the knife edge on the lower strings is really corroded, as well as the locking blocks, trem post and a few of the saddles. I'd like to keep the plating as intact as possible.
