My guitar has been in a non-climate controlled storage unit for a little over a year. I'm going to have the guitar re-set up .

Merlin Hellfire is about the hottest pickup I have ever tried. I love it in the bridge. Not so much in the neck.

Might be good to back the pickup height down a bit, as the Black Winters are pretty hot. It should tighten up the bass some and maybe allow you to add more treble/gain via the pedal to get the grit you want. It's possible, like you said, that the Iridium FX loop isn't suited for taking that preamp pedal--how does it sound straight into the Iridium without the Diezel pedal?

How do you order those to the US? I didn't see any vendors.

Jesus Christ, I didn't watch your videos. My bad! TBH I think it sounds plenty mean without the Herbert pedal haha. That pedal does sound like it just adds a lot of bass, whether it's the pedal, the Iridium's FX loop, or a combination of the two I'm not sure, but I don't think it's a pickup problem with the Black Winters.

Yep, it doesn't sound bad at all. I was going to recommend lowering the pickups a bit as someone already said, to clear things up, but new strings is a must anyway.
