That dog will hunt. Was honestly hoping for the blinding yellow....

Im betting a leak fender is normally very hush hush.

The whole word has gone 80’s. As far as guitars go that’s fine, just keep fashion out of it.

Fender came so close with the HM strats back in the day, but the US made "shredders" had too many dead spots for most.

(I'm 52- I remember when they were released)

Waiting for Peavey to reissue the Vandenberg now lol...

£1000? I could buy an original for £500 on ebay. Or just get a Charvel for £800. Seems daft to reissue it at that price.

These have a unique scale length (closer to a PRS scale), so the Charvel isn't exactly the same. Originals are getting a bit on in age, so I suppose I could rationalize getting a new MIJ one instead so that you don't have to worry about neck pocket finish cracks or leaning tremolo studs etc. I'm a bit surprised that it's a Floyd Special at that price, but the current Specials seem fine.

After so many years those £500 eBay ones may need £500 in sorting.

Plus, if these are made in Japan, they're a heck of a bargain.

    Those mad fucking lads.

It's funny because I saw some thread on TGP with someone begging for a HMS reissue. Half the thread was like "fuuuuuck nooooooo". I feel like this was to spite them.

Also damn, MiJ. Please let this be a trend.

Good find: Frozen Yellow and Bright White, too. Also have Player Lead series up.

This complicates a few things....was looking for a shorter scale 6, thinking the stealth once stability was confirmed would meet that.
    And now this badassery.

Really cool to see a reissue, but for $1,200 you’d think they could do a 1000 series Floyd vs. Special.

Now this is what I was waiting for. A local shop has an original in pretty much the same shade of blue for $900.

^^^^ because the Lead has one of the coolest body shapes fender ever made. Plus they e been reissuing the same shit for years so it's cool to see them dip into some of the more o score models
