Help needed with finding/dialing a tone patch!

So I recently got a Line 6 Pod HD Pro X and I don't have a lot of time to mess with it, since I work full time (8-6), and when I am at home I spend time with my son and after that with my girl. And weekends are family time..

So... I want to ask if some of you can find/dial me a tone that is similar to The Contortionist's Exoplanet guitar tones?
Or tones from these records:
Tesseract's One
Unearth's The March & Watchers of Rule
and those two latest releases from BTBAM..


I am currently trying to record a demo and I have until the end of this year to get it all recorded, mixed and mastered.

Please help me if you can.

I've never had an ounce of luck with using other peoples presets, mostly because the guitar and playing style are going to be very different, though you could try and tweak them. What I would do instead in your situation is to look into the amp models that are used in the tones you like and start from there. Most of these bands probably also want a tube screamer or some other overdrive in the chain before the amp as a boost. Other than that it's just going to take some time with tweaking.
