If you want to add some space and separation to the mix you could also run it though a mid/side processor too.

    Updated... https://soundcloud.com/konfyouzd/can-a-gorilla-swim-test-2

I made a different track so that we have a basis for comparison because it's been a while.

I did a lot of stuff with this one that differs from the one I originally posted here... The samples are gone. I hope that doesn't break any hearts.

the low end needs taming first here. guitars could probably be high-passed more aggressively and then balance the kick / bass from there.

Cool. I thought I was hearing something between 1 - 200 sounding a bit sloppy. I made some cuts in that range and I've been waiting multiple days between listening to make sure I hear what I think I do.

Plan to remove some bass from my guitar tone, high pass just above 100 and see where the pile up between the kick and bass is occurring.

    Will update tonight.

It sounds good to me. Sorry, that doesn't help. If anything I'd say the mids need more ice pick/ attack on the guitars. They are very smooth mid's but not sure if that's what you want. A little more attack on the guitars would make it crunchier. Sounds good.

I am running the mids a bit high. I couldnt decide what I wanted to do with them.
