    Hi,

I'm about to sell one of my guitars and get some money.

So I have a budget of ~1200€ but I also need to buy some new effects pedals (fulltone ocd, boss ns2, a voodoolab power (mainly) (then after some other that can wait such as a reverd and a new delay).

So, I looking to buy a new amp (probably a combo?):
I really like the tone of a Orange Rockerverb and a Marshall JCM800 but they are really pricey (even the rockerverb combo).
I want an amp that can do some good metal but also other genres.

At first I though of buying a Peavey 6505+112 but after some thinking I found that it's maybe too metal for what I want to play. (I play mostly newer bmth's songs).

I need to save up at least 430€ for the main pedals I want, so I would have something 750/800max €.

Do you guys have any ideas ?

    Thanks
Ps: I think that for that price I won't find a head+cab that i want.

    Just for your information :)
Personally a used 5150 or 6505 would be good for this.
And for your pedals, I would check used aswell.
Gives you more headroom for a good cab. which is just as important as a good head.
    Also, check used. never hurts.

    P.s.: Hallo mede-Belg :D

I know that he used a 5150 for the heavy parts on the albums but I prefer his live sound.

    I'll check used gear also.

Love BMTH one of my favorite bands just saying. . .But I actually like the cleans on my 6505+ though I did change out the speaker for a vintage 30.

I have no experience and I was able to do. No soldering involved just unbolt the old speaker and bolt on the new one. I payed like $425 for the amp used and $125 for the 16 ohm celestion vintage 30 so it cost me $550 all together if you could do it at that price I would recommend it but I've heard its harder to get the 6505+ for cheap outside the states??? I'd also look into the blackstar Id series I've heard really good things about it and it's supposed to be really versatile.

Yeah, I've found on the music store where I buy my gear (Thomann), that they sell V30 for 99€ and the 6505+112 for 600€. Thats some good deals.

i must say, i heard the 6505+ 112 combo and it was nothing close to my 5150
it lacked a lot of power and had less of that awesome 5150 low

en ook leuk om hier wat belgen te zien :D

Well it's hard to find a 5150 (block) here.

    6505 combo > 6505+

The 6505 is MUCH closer to the sound of the older 5150s.

If you like JCM800s, check out the "Super Twin 800" by Frenzel amps.

I'm going to be the weird one here and say buy a used Mesa Boogie Mark IV, head or combo. Those amps can do almost anything efficiently and you'll still have plenty of cash leftover to buy your pedals!
