Don't know why but I was quite sure that the Helix had some kind of Synth sounds like piano/strings/etc...I was very wrong about it.
Don't even know how DPS intensive they could be.
I wouldn't mind seeing them try this, but you'd be surprised how 'synthy' you can get a guitar sounding with the right effects strung together. Shimmer, verb, distortion after can start it. Then it's just messing with the pre-distortion chain to get where you wanna go.

There are some synth / synth-like effects, but in the legacy section (ie: they come from the POD HD).

Some are good.

So I've had my HX Effects hooked up with my Stomp and dialing things in. Here's a weird one. If the Stomp is in the loop of the Effects and I wanna run a dedicated cab out to the right output for the PA;
Do I do the normal split in the the Stomp and then route the right output into the return of the 2nd loop of the HX Effects (with no send)? Then run the right return split to right out of the HX Effects to PA? I'll use an IR if I have to but would like to use the cab engine of the Stomp for tweaking. Otherwise the PA won't be getting the delays from the HX Effects.
