Was using 9 gauges for 10 years...broke maybe a high e or d string three times year. Recently switched to 10 gauge strings and I'm breaking a string every two weeks??? Curious if anybody has experience this.

Sounds like there might be a sharp point on your guitar and the slightly higher tension is bringing it into play where it wasn't causing an issue before. More than likely just bad luck though!
