Looks like it only has 6 strings, too. Isn't that, like...1 string away from a banjo? How does one even write music on that?

No no, it's an extended range banjo.

Mad times when Harley Benton can get Roasted Maple right and Kiesel can't

Well to be faaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir, those are promo shots.
That flamed roasted maple looks better than most Kiesel roasted necks, but also better than most EBMM or Suhr ones too so I'm not sure that's necessarily going to speak to the final product the clients get or the quality of the brands. Just check actual customer pictures of most HB figured woods (usually veneers), and they're not usually on the level of the press shots.

    In other words...marketers gonna market.

Not saying I wouldn't like to try one of those though.
Maybe if travel restrictions are lifted and some day we can travel back to Europe

The shape has grown on me a little but I want a tele shape and Kiesel single cuts look like ass cancer. So I'm out of luck.

    Ass cancer single cuts lmao.
If you're speaking about the Zeus or old SC... I kinda see where you're coming from  . Although as ugly as it is, i can't stop looking at the Zeus. Almost endearing it's so ugly.

The new Leia is kinda better but for some reason they are too shy to show it on the website. Go figure.

The Zeus looks better as a 7 or 8 string. It's too asymmetrical without the wider neck to balance it out. I feel the same with a LP-style body being shrunk down. Doesn't work as a headless.
