Have you ever had an occult/supernatural experience?

Just like the subject says, I’d like to hear some stories. I always wanted to believe in the supernatural, but despite going on all the ghost tours I could find, it hasn’t happened for me.

Also, I always wanted to attend an occult ceremony by people that were seriously into it, but I never figured out how to do/find that, if it even exists.

check out the conspiracy thread.

Yeah that’s a lot of material to sift through, though seems more governement-related than supernatural.

Well, anyone who plays DnD can attest that your dice are supernatural beings encased in plastic... and most of them are unkind.

Lol yeah I never played it, which I regret now that Stranger Things has made it seem so cool.

The idea that a group devoted to "the occult" would allow an uninitiated stranger to look in on their practices strikes me as silly.

I think there was some supernatural stuff in it originally but I don't tend to hang out in those threads.

It's fun, but you gotta play with friends, I've discovered. People tend to play differently, and want different stuff out of the game- like my group is all about telling a story, whereas some players care more about the gameplay- so, you're more likely to gel better if the group is full of people you know.

This story didn't happen to me but to my Mom who was born and raised in the Philippines. This happened in the 1950's in the town she lived in. The story goes, a lady went crazy and tried to throw her baby (who is my Mom's godson) out the window. According to my Mom, everyone knew the lady and she didn't have any history of mental illness/depression/problems/etc, etc, etc. Anyways, the town contacted a retired Priest who lived in another town because he had experience in performing exorcisms. Long story short, the lady and her child lived a long happy life with no problems afterwards.

Nowdays, this story is hard to believe, even for me, because people display extreme acts of mental illness and kill babies all the time, so... I'm a believer in the supernatural but I have to also believe it could have been something else besides the Devil doing his dirty work.

I did get a chance to see the house where the lady lived/exorcism performed when I visited the Philippines in the 1980's and it was pretty cool. The house was long abandoned with the windows boarded up and whatnot. Definitely had the creep factor but no weird ominous feelings or Devil pigs peering out the windows.

They wouldn't. They usually kill them a la Race with the Devil.

I'm not being serious.

Yes. I listened to the Grammy winning award-winning 1999 hit Smooth by Santana featuring Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty, off the multi-platinum album Supernatural.

There’s this really unfortunate-looking woman at work who crushes on the leads of the TV series Supernatural. I feel that trivial incident explains basic coincidences and serendipitous moments in my complacent and otherwise unremarkable life - Particularly, those inconsequential enough to require no explanation. Someone once acted interested in what I had to say while rambling about one such experience and, even though I was fudging details by remembering the last time I told the story as opposed to the original event, I’m seeing even more of them in my day-to-day general lack of fulfillment, and unconsciously making the leap of relating these active observations of presumably independent events back to myself (specifically) in a shallow sort of egocentrically satisfying way.

I know a lot of people won’t believe me, but I know what I didn’t see: I think there’s a lot more going on than we can speculate; and so we should speculate about that.

One night i woke up and went to my desk where i had some wallnuts in a bowl,i took some and in my sleepiness i turned the bowl over spilling the wallnuts.I was like "whatever, ill pick them up in the morning".I wake up next morning and there is nothing left but the empty bowl, mind you i was alone in the house for a few days back than and nobody to clean it up for me...still weird when i think of it.
