i just got a used Ibanez M80M and i'm looking for a hardshell case for it. I believe the official case for it is a soft one. Is there an Ibanez one that will fit or can someone suggest a good one?

    thanks

For oversized guitars, the classic solution has been generic bass cases.

Try before you buy or choose something with a return policy.

You should check out the Ibanez MR500C. It's designed to fit 6/7/8 strings RG models (so not specifically for the M80M). Scale length might be a problem though, so you should definitely try it first.
I have the same case and it's pretty good (I'm using it for a 6 string though).

I just recently sold my M80M, the case wasn't soft and floppy.
Would you take it on tour flying the world, no. Can you chuck it in the car and go to practice, or local gigs.. yes.
