It has cylinders loaded with multiple pickups so you can just swap sounds easily.
I'm actually mildly intrigued by the idea, just not sure how they get it to work from an engineering standpoint.

WTF! Weird. It says you can actually filp the pickups in the middle of a song. Only thing is that it appears you can't put a normal sized humbucker in there. I might be wrong about that though.

Takes the Relish idea to the next level. I can’t believe this will catch on at $16k for one, I could have a literal guitar pile for that.

At least with the relish system you can swap in humbuckers. This doesn't seem to offer that yet which is a big fail in my book. What's the point in having a quick swap system if you can't offer anything besides single coil sized pickups lol

Guys, guys guys...it's all an illuminati scheme. Gyrock spelled backwardsis Nilbog, which is Goblin backwards!!!

In other news...is that a whole CNC carved aluminum billet chassis? Or is it just a rendering, and in real life it's silver-colored ABS or cintered pot metal?

Also, I'm sure the actual pickup-to-guitar's wiring connection system took some figuring out. Until a patent or two expires, it's likely not going to get any cheaper, or unless someone else figures out a different *cough*better*cough* way to do it (like, for example, SawStop vs Bosch Reaxx table saw).

imagine a tremolo pedal effect, but each "whah" in the "whah whah whah" effect was a different pickup's tone...

This is a great example of "doesn't mean you should, just because you can"

I think this guitar should take full sized humbuckers first off, then it should be a rental guitar so you could just rent it, load up your pickups, try them out, and return it after you figure out which picupks you like best.

There was a demo guitar (I think) that had a disc routed into the top with various buckers. Seems more practical but I can't remember where or what it was.

I'd tend to think that someone who is really into tonal options isn't the same person who wants a guitar with half of the body mass hogged-out.

'Weird' caught my attention, but it is not 'weird' in a good way. Amazing how some silly ideas actually come to market.

This seems like something I invented and then somehow got the funding to do. Which means it is 110 percent an idea no one would buy.

Here's another idea. Do this at the pickup level.

One giant coil. 20 taps. 5 different mags that you can rotate out.

I'll just need 2 million dollars.

I love that the ad says "1 guitar, 6 pickups, infinite possibilites" that is unless you play humbukers like 80-90% of guitar players out there.
