I got a chip on my RG1527 and i was thinking, is that possible to get repaired?
And if not, i was thinking of getting it painted Desert yellow like an RG550 or swirled...
Good idea? and whats a good place to get these kind of finishes ?

I don't think you can repair a chip cheaply and hide if perfectly.

If it's a black guitar, you can hide it temporarly with a black marker.

Repainting, is a bit tougher if you don't have all the equipment..

Well i dont expect it to be perfect though. If i were to get it repainted, i'd have someone do it professionally.

a chip? Screw it. Look at SRV's guitar- how badass is that?

I figure, at the rate I'm going, another 10 or so years and my 7620 will be nearly as cool. :)

Holy crap, the sharpie idea makes it barely noticeable from any farther away than a few feet. A Swirl would be still badass though.

Its not a black guitar btw, you can check how the finish looks on Ibanezrules.com, though.
