My best friend/drummer is actually gonna be playing drums for Exist on this trek. I encourage you to yell lines from The Simpsons at him all night haha.

One of those dates is a block from my house. I haven't been too into Gorguts since Obscura, but I doubt I'll have anything better to do.

Bro the stuff they have been doing on Colored Sands and Pleiades Dust is next level, and they are WAYYYYYYYYY better live now than when they were younger. Please go!

I'm going ham at that Atlanta date.

Pleiades' Dust live is a helluva good time. Saw them play a shorter set here in NZ just recently but it was exceptional.

I've only seen them one time and it was when they were opening on the Decibel tour playing a lot of the Colored Sands material and even though their set was short, it was one of the most memorable performances I've seen by any band. The atmosphere they've managed to create on that album in particular is incredible and I've never heard any other band come close to that mood really, and then to see them pull off that same feel and eeriness live is... well, awesome.

Really, anyone reading this thread, get out and go to this tour even if you're not currently a big fan of any of these bands or don't know much about any of them. These are some of the tightest musicians you could ask for under one bill.

    Go. Do it.

Insane lineup, gorguts slayed last time they came here.

...but honestly I am more excited that I'm going to finally be able see and talk to Fountainhead since he is part of Defeated Sanity now :) :D

That's awesome. I wish I could attend this tour and meet Tom Fountainhead but the FL. locations are too far for me. Gotta get me some of those bad-ass Gorguts shirts I've been seeing online. :agreed:

I went to this last night. Exist was ok, typical prog stuff. Gorguts smashed. That was one of the better live shows I've ever seen.

The only disappointment was that there were only like 30 people at the show. It was a pretty empty bar. I thought gorguts would bring a pretty sizable crowd. Maybe because it was Tuesday night...

Also, defeated sanity didn't play :(

Same happened last time they played here. There were more than 30 but the place was not that full.
Looking forward to seeing them and Exist on Monday :)

Too bad Defeated Sanity (and Fountainhead) couldn't make it for this tour :((

Why didn't defeated sanity play? They're one of the biggest reasons I want to go to Atlanta for the show

Fucking hell. I used to talk to Lille a lot years ago when rivers of gore was still prominent. I was really looking forward to seeing them play...

To be honest I'm not familiar with a lot of their stuff and they didn't say song names before playing them, I just know they played all of pleadies' dust and then finished with a song from their first album. I'm pretty sure they started with Le toit du monde. I just got into them recently and was mainly there for pleadies' dust.
